We are Pine Run Press, an independent book publisher striving to offer well-told, authentic stories about people we all can relate to. We offer top-rate editing services, graphic design, and marketing to make sure your book finds its way to its readers. We value collaboration and work closely with the author every step of the way to foster a community of writers and readers.
We started Pine Run Press because we are passionate about books and writing, and we know there are so many authors who have authentic stories to share. We want to see the struggles and triumphs of the human condition, of incredible successes and stubborn failures, of all the gradients of virtues and vices. We are not interested in books that cater to the latest cultural trends.

About
Denise lives in northern Wisconsin with her husband, a collie who can’t stop barking, and two rescue cats. She’ll soon be an empty nester, but plans to visit her college-age children often. She enjoys the outdoors whether in the garden, a state park, or at a ski hill/trail. She also enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures.
She’s been a college-level writing and composition instructor for 20 years, including literature and Interpersonal Relations courses. She left teaching to become a book editor in 2016 and discovered she loved the one-on-one connections she made working with authors.
She has a B.A. in English and History, as well as a Master’s degree in English, both from the University of Wisconsin. In addition to being a book lover and an editor, she’s also a writer (i.e. she can relate to writerly life struggles).
SAWYER DENISON

About
Sawyer is an artist, writer, and rock n’ roller in northern Wisconsin who spends equal time with a pen or stylus in his hands as he does a guitar pick. When not editing a manuscript, he’s probably shredding a solo or messing around in Photoshop. If still not found, check the local hiking trails after dark, where he can be found exploring among the night fauna.
While he loves writing and visual art individually, his passion lies in combining the two.
Sawyer graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he earned his B.A. in English and A.A. in Art. While at university, Sawyer began freelance editing and also started a business designing and manufacturing custom guitar graphics.

Joey currently lives in northern Wisconsin with his friends and pet fish, Paul. When he’s not working on marketing, he loves to downhill ski, go grocery shopping, and read. He’s also passionate about photography and loves to capture couples.
Something deeply important to Joey is his faith and he enjoys reading the Bible and other faith-based books.
Joey graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for Marketing Communications. He’s since done marketing for his own photography business as well as for physical therapy clinics. His interest in marketing began at a young age, and he loves exploring and learning more, especially with the ever-changing technology.
He loves to share his marketing knowledge with other small businesses and entrepreneurs. Since he himself runs a small business, he understands the importance of supporting locally.

Ava lives in Omaha, Nebraska, where she loves exploring all of the local coffee shops. She is currently on the hunt for the best caramel cold brew around. In her free time, Ava enjoys taking yoga classes (the hotter the better), going for walks around the city, and downhill skiing when she’s up north. One of her favorite hikes to go on is around Lake Manawa, which she says is especially beautiful in the fall.
Ava graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In addition to being a part of the Pine Run Press team, she is working as a tax accountant for a corporation in Omaha.
